La Romana Hotels
La Romana is located
on the Dominican Republic's south coast, fronting calm, Caribbean waters
and bordering the National Park of the East. A wildlife refuge harboring
sea turtles and sea birds, the park encompasses both a mainland cape
and Isla Saona, an island of lovely beaches and caves once used by the
ancient Taino people. History tells us that Christopher Columbus also

take day trips from La Romana to deserted tropical islets. Great beaches
for swimming, its located on the southern coast and the surf action
is not as rough.
