Documents Needed for Travel
U.S. citizens are not required to have passports, but
they must be prepared to show evidence of citizenship upon leaving.
Some form of identification (passport, driver's license or state-issued
birth certificate with raised seal and a picture ID) must be carried.
Citizens of any country other than the U.S. should follow U.S. travel
regulations.

Beaches
St. Thomas is home to Magens Bay, which was described
by National Geographic as, “one of the most beautiful beaches in the
world.” Several other beaches, including Sapphire Beach are guaranteed
to take your breath away.
Climate
St. Thomas enjoys stable tropical conditions all year
long. Temperatures only vary during the months of the year by 5-7 degrees,
with the average temperature being in the high 70’s.
What to Wear
Moderately casual clothing is acceptable. It is illegal
to wear swimwear on the streets. Some restaurants require jacket for
men, and like dress for women.
Currency and Credit Cards
The US dollar is the official currency of St. Thomas,
and credit cards are widely accepted.
Electricity
The electrical current is same as US.
Marriage Requirements
1. Passports or birth certificates and photo IDs
2. Letter accompanying Application for Marriage stating date of visit,
accommodations, length of stay, and preference of date if having ceremony
performed by a judge
3. No residence requirement, but couples need to allow 8 days for the
application process. Couples do not have to be on the island during
this waiting period.
