Feel the Spirit of Hawaii
There is not a single traffic light, elevator or chain
store to be found on this quaint and friendly island
where you'll experience authentic Hawaiian culture and
tradition. All along Molokai there are dozens of small
coves with deserted beaches including Papohaku Beach
Park, Hawaii's largest white sand beach.

Featured Wedding Planner
Hawaiian Romance is one of the most well-established
wedding companies in Hawaii. The company opened its doors in 1985 and
has even been featured on acclaimed television programs such as "LIVE
With Regis And Kathie Lee". The founders came to Maui from the Mainland
to be married themselves, so they have a special appreciation for the
trusting relationship that must exist between the couple and the wedding
coordinator in order to make the planning process fun, exciting, and
stress-free. Email us

Destination Details
Escorts attired in native Hawaiian dress paddle the canoe
while one sings soft Hawaiian songs. Or you can take a riverboat to
a place called the Fern Grotto and repeat your vows there. You can choose
a spot on a towering sea cliff, go to one of several spectacular gardens,
take a helicopter to a remote waterfall, get married in a church, on
a private yacht or in one of the island's elegant resorts. More than
3,000 couples exchange wedding vows each year on Kauai. The draw is
the island's intense natural beauty and a professional array of services
that make it easy to get married and honeymoon here.

Hawaii is a beautiful place and a marriage here is an
ideal way for a couple to start life together. You may be a visitor
to the Islands, drawn to our year-round warm and sunny weather, or you
may be a resident wishing to celebrate a most cherished moment in a
place that you call home. Whoever you are, we welcome you and hope that
we can make your wedding day as free from worry as possible. Aloha and
best wishes! For any person to lawfully marry in the State of Hawaii,
a license for that purpose must be obtained from an authorized agent
(HRS §572-1.7). Once the license has been issued, there is no waiting
period before the marriage can take place. A marriage license and marriage
certificate are different documents. The marriage license permits a
marriage to take place. The marriage certificate indicates that a legal
marriage has been performed. The marriage certificate is prepared and
filed by your licensed marriage officiant or performer with the Department
of Health . A newly married couple receives one (1) certified copy of
the marriage certificate at no extra charge, upon payment of the marriage
license fee, which will be sent to the couple by mail (60-120 days)
after the marriage has been performed. If a marriage certificate is
needed sooner than this, you can apply for one or more additional certified
copies. Information on marriage licenses may be obtained via the telephone
system, any day or any time, by calling (808) 586-4545. Marriage Guidelines
