The Little England of the Caribbean
Barbados has the perfect blend of caribbean fun and
British charm. The Brits came in 1627 and infused into
the culture the old world flair.
Pleasant mannered, proper and sophisticated, they serve
high tea in the afternoon and the island even has a
Trafalgar Square Looking for an island that you can
go off on your own and explore with out being hounded
by souvenir venders this is it. Make sure you see the
East Side of the island where the rugged surf crashes.
Yes, they surf here just like Hawaii. There are even
a few pink sand beaches too! Barbados is very safe island,
this is one of the few places you can go out on your
own to sightsee and not be hounded by souvenir vendors.
